We process personal data only to the extent necessary for the provision of a functional website as well as our content and services.
The processing of personal data regularly takes place only after the user has given consent. An exception applies in cases where prior consent cannot be obtained for factual reasons and the processing of the data is permitted by legal regulations.
2.5 Hosting
Our website is hosted on servers of Manitu GmbH, Welvertstraße 2, 66606 St. Wendel, Germany. All servers are located in Germany. This ensures that your data is processed exclusively in Germany and is subject to German and European data protection regulations.
3. Provision of the Website and Creation of Log Files
Each time our website is accessed, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the accessing computer.
The following data is collected:
- Information about the browser type and version used
- The user's operating system
- The user's Internet Service Provider
- IP address (anonymized after the end of the visit)
- Date and time of access
- Websites from which the user's system accesses our website
- Websites accessed by the user's system via our website
The data is also stored in the log files of our system. This data is not stored together with other personal data of the user.
3.2 Legal Basis for Data Processing
The legal basis for the temporary storage of data and log files is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
3.3 Purpose of Data Processing
The temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary to enable the website to be delivered to the user's computer. For this purpose, the user's IP address must remain stored for the duration of the session.
The storage in log files is carried out to ensure the functionality of the website. In addition, we use the data to optimize the website and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. The data is not evaluated for marketing purposes in this context.
3.4 Duration of Storage
The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required to achieve the purpose for which they were collected. In the case of data collection for the provision of the website, this is the case when the respective session is ended.
In the case of storage of data in log files, this is the case after a maximum of seven days. Further storage is possible. In this case, the IP addresses of the users are deleted or alienated so that an assignment of the accessing client is no longer possible.
4. Contact Form and Email Contact
Our website contains a contact form that can be used for electronic contact. If a user takes advantage of this option, the data entered in the input mask will be transmitted to us and stored.
These data are:
- Name
- Email address
- Message
- Language setting (DE/EN)
At the time the message is sent, the following additional data is stored:
- Date and time of contact
Your consent is obtained for the processing of the data during the sending process and reference is made to this privacy policy.
4.2 Legal Basis for Data Processing
The legal basis for the processing of the data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR if the user has given consent.
4.3 Purpose of Data Processing
The processing of personal data from the input mask serves us solely to process the contact request. In the event of contact by email, this also applies to the processing of personal data transmitted with it.
The other personal data processed during the sending process serve to prevent abuse of the contact form and to ensure the security of our information technology systems.
4.4 Duration of Storage
The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required to achieve the purpose for which they were collected. For personal data from the input mask of the contact form and those sent by email, this is the case when the respective conversation with the user has ended.
The conversation is ended when it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter in question has been conclusively clarified. The additional personal data collected during the sending process will be deleted after a period of at most 30 days.
4.5 Spam Protection (ALTCHA)
To protect against automated spam, we use the open-source software ALTCHA, which runs exclusively on our own server. When the page is loaded, your browser fetches a small computational task from our server and solves it in the background. The result is submitted together with the form and verified by our server.
No cookies are set, no data is stored in your browser and no data is transferred to third parties. There is no tracking and no fingerprinting. Only a check value of the solved task (without any personal reference) is stored to prevent reuse; it is deleted automatically once it has expired (after one hour). In addition, the form contains a field that is invisible to humans and is only filled in by automated programs.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a contact form protected against abuse (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). The computation in the browser is strictly necessary for sending the form at your request (§ 25 para. 2 no. 2 TDDDG).
